Everyone has heard of teamspeak! It was the first stable voice conferencing system avaiable to casual network gamers, before console solutions for games were integrated.

Businesses did not use teamspeak because the free license prevents commercial use. However, Teamspeak 3 offers commercial use for paying customers at a FRACTION of the cost of similar groupware tools, includes FTP file transfer from members to other members, has unique security key authentication for users to prevent hijacking of connections, password security for private rooms, variable voice codec support for high quality audio and high capacity meetings, user speaking priority, and a number of features not present in Teamspeak 1 and 2. Teamspeak 3 has been completely re-written, and Shadowdancers L.L.C. is an Authorized Teamspeak Hosting Provider!

This means that your business or club may rent a server from Shadowdancers LLC for your personal use, commercial use, and client operations for little more than an analog phone line. Because this is a commercial license, you can use it for commercial purposes - provided you do not resell or rebrand the service and remain the end-user of the software supporting the service.

Teamspeak 3 costs are mainly bandwidth related. The more users you have, the higher the audio quality you grant each user, the more resources your host will require. Billing is a flat fee, month-to-month, which we will examine and recommend hosting options fitting your usage patterns. There are no overages and no restrictions on quality in our service. If we deem that you need a larger host, we will advise you of the logistic costs and let you decide if this contract is suitable for your use - or change usage patterns to optimize your experience.
